PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Beginning this fall, Leo Corriveau will be assuming duties as executive director for graduate studies and community outreach at Plymouth State University. Dr. Corriveau, who has headed the University’s office of teacher accreditation, assessment and clinical experiences for the last year and a half, will be chief operating officer and help coordinate graduate programs with academic departments.
“This is an exciting time to be joining the graduate studies team,” says Corriveau. “Graduate programs are expanding and we’re working closely with education and businesses in the state and region.”
Because of the rapid growth in the graduate studies area, a consultant was called in last spring to identify ways the University could continue to efficiently meet the needs of the programs. Some restructuring within the division was recommended, and Corriveau was asked to assume the role of chief operating officer. Associate Vice President Dennise Maslakowski continues to head the division.
