Added to PSC Day this year, is an event for The March of Dimes. Plymouth State will host the newest March of Dimes WalkAmerica walksite. Last year over 200 teams across New Hampshire participated in WalkAmerica.
WalkAmerica registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Plymouth Town Common, and walkers step off at 9 a.m. Sponsor forms for the one-mile fun walk and three-mile run are available at a table at the HUB between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and at the Community Service Learning Center office, also in the HUB.
A related activity on April 26, Blue Jeans for Babies Day, will call attention to the needs of sick infants, a clientele supported by the March of Dimes. Buttons and information about various March of Dimes projects will also be available at the table in the HUB throughout the week.
