Plymouth State College will be participating in an online college fair for business majors on Wednesday, January 17. Prospective students and their parents can visit Plymouth State’s virtual booth by logging onto Online College Fair

Plymouth State will host its own multi-media chat room with a virtual question and answer session, allowing prospective students to visit with admission staff, faculty and current students Visitors will also be able to join live sessions moderated by college admission experts on general topics such as financial aid and scholarships, test preparation and college counseling.

“Participating in the Online College Fair gives us the opportunity to interface with an expanded pool of potential applicants,” says PSC Admissions Officer Jennifer Johnson. “The number of students researching and applying to colleges online is increasing, and it’s a great way to offer a level of personal service to our prospective students.”

Plymouth State will be participating in two additional Online College Fairs. A fair is scheduled for general interest on February 1, and one geared for students of color on April 18. The Online College Fair is a program of the National Association for College Admission Counseling, and builds on their already successful National College Fairs held annually in over 60 locations nationwide. As a recruiting tool, its goal is to make it easier for students and parents to interact with college representatives.
