Several members of the Plymouth State College Campus Police and administration will join other police officers from across the state in the 2002 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics on Thursday, May 30.

The annual fundraiser is organized by the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police, and has a northern and southern leg that meet in Concord. PSC Campus Police will join officers from Plymouth, Holderness, Ashland and Meredith to cover the distance from Plymouth to Meredith.

“I’ve been involved with the Torch Run for 10 years,” says Lt. Aaron Comeau. “It is a good opportunity to come together to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics.”

Representing Plymouth State will be: Chief John Clark, Lt. Aaron Comeau with his wife Angela and family, Cpl. Pete Chierichetti, Officer Mike Barney, Officer Betsy Scrafford, Dick Hage, vice president for student affairs, and Michele Barney Hutchins, director of public relations.
