Because of the weather, Saturday’s Commencement ceremony may be held in Foley Gymnasium, which is located inside the Physical Education Center. A final decision will be made late Friday or early Saturday to move the ceremony indoors. Please call PSC’s hotline number at (603)535-3535 for the most current information.
Each graduate was issued two (2) tickets, which they were asked to pick up in the Alumni Office located at Russell House. Tickets will be available for pick-up by the graduating student until 7 p.m. Friday night.
If you have a ticket, you are asked to park your car and walk to the east end of the P.E. Center (the end nearest to I-93) to enter the building. Guests will not be allowed to enter the building until 8:45 a.m. when ticket holders will be admitted through the east door (this is the door on the parking lot side of the building). Commencement will begin at 10 a.m. and will last approximately one hour.
If you do not have a ticket, you are invited to view the Commencement on a large screen-TV in either the Hartman Union Building (HUB) or the Silver Cultural Arts Center where the ceremony will be broadcast. Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis and handicapped spaces are available in the Cultural Arts Center. Additionally, the PSC Bookstore and the Sidewalk Café in the HUB will be open for your enjoyment.
Free parking is available in the two large lots on either side of Holderness Road (Route 175A). Those guests without tickets are encouraged to drive to the parking lots nearest to the Silver Cultural Arts Center and HUB (see map on back). After the ceremony, all traffic will be directed east on Route 175A toward I-93.
Access for handicapped persons is available at the P.E. Center for guests with tickets and at the Silver Cultural Arts Center for guests without tickets. The P.E. Center is equipped to meet the needs of most disabled persons. To enter the building, use the ramp located on the south side facing Holderness Road. College personnel will be stationed at the ramp to provide assistance if you need it. The Silver Cultural Arts Center has limited disabled parking.
Public restrooms are located inside the P.E. Center for ticket holders only. Because the fire code limits the number of people allowed inside the building, we cannot admit anyone without a ticket. Guests will be allowed inside the P.E. Center at 8:45 a.m.
Restrooms for non-ticket holders are located in six locations:
1. outside the south entrance to the P.E. Center.
2. inside the east entrance to the Facilities Services Building across the road from the P.E. Center.
3. in the Silver Cultural Arts Center which opens at 9 a.m.
4. inside the HUB which opens at 8 a.m.
5. at D&M Park next to the concession stand.
6. Portable restrooms located in the parking lots of the P.E. Center and Facilities Services Building
