Fillion (Littleton, NH) chipped in with 13 points, junior Courtney Jacques (Belmont, NH) added 11 and junior Jess Shapiro (Windsor Locks, CT) came off the bench to contribute 10
points and six rebounds.
The victory, PSC’s sixth in the last seven games, improved the Panthers record to 13-9 overall and 6-6 in the LEC. The Beacons drop to 3-19 and 0-12.
Freshman Andreen Gilpin (Boston, MA) led the Beacons with 10 points and 14 rebounds, while Keri Herbert (South Boston, MA) scored a team-high 11 points.
Plymouth State held a seven-point lead at 27-20 midway through the first half before the 28-4 run, which put the Panthers up by 31 at the half. UMB got no closer than that the
entire second half.
PSC plays a key LEC game Wednesday (Feb. 17) at Keene State (5:30 p.m.), a rematch from the Jan. 27th PSC victory, and returns home for the regular season finale next
Saturday (Feb. 20) vs. Eastern Connecticut.
