The Panthers’ leading scorers were Krystyna Zagorski (Matawan, NJ) and Courtney Jacques (Belmont, NH) both finishing with 14 points. Jacques also led the team in assists
with seven, and tied with Lynn Hersey (Dexter, ME) for the rebounding lead by pulling down six boards.

UMass Dartmouth’s Kate Douglass (Sharon, MA) pulled down 17 rebounds and scored 12 points to lead the Corsairs. Kelly Berger (Buzzards Bay, MA) registered 13 points for
the afternoon.

Both team’s defenses were stingy, as the Panthers held the Corsairs to .333 shooting, and UMD held PSC to just .367 shooting. The Panthers made the most of the chances
they did get and finished the first half with a five-point lead at 40-35.

With two minutes remaining in the game, Plymouth had a 14-point lead, the largest of the game, and never looked back.

The win improves the Panthers mark to 5-4 overall, and 1-2 in the LEC. The Panthers’ next game is Tuesday at UMass Boston, and they return home Thursday the 15th to face
Bowdoin College. UMD falls to 1-7 and 0-3 in the league.
