PSC upended by Colby-Sawyer

NEW LONDON, N.H. — The Colby-Sawyer women’s volleyball team extended its winning streak to four matches with a 3-0 (30-27, 33-31, 30-24) home shutout over intrastate rival
Plymouth State at the Coffin Field House.

Seniors Karen Kotopoulis (Nashua, N.H.) and Amy Callahan (Rochester, NH) led the victorious Chargers (8-9) with 11 and eight kills, respectively, while sophomore Mary Ann
Prescott (Laconia, N.H.) had a team-high 15 digs. Senior Heather McMahon (Milford, N.H.) recorded 28 assists and freshman Karen Tryon (Tilton, N.H.) added nine digs to the win.

The Panthers (13-10) received 19 and 15 digs, respectively from sophomores Megan O’Connor (Rochester, N.Y.) and Amber Greenlaw (Gilford, N.H.) and seven kills by
sophomore Becky Landry (Nashua, N.H.).

Colby-Sawyer will be home again on Wednesday for a 7:00 p.m. match versus Green Mountain, while the Panthers are off until Thursday when they will play at Saint Joseph’s at 7:00
p.m.
