PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Plymouth State College overcame an 11-point second half deficit Saturday in men’s basketball, and handed UMass Dartmouth an 82-76 Little East Conference defeat at Foley Gymnasium.
The win improved PSC to 7-2 overall and 2-1 in LEC games. UMass Dartmouth, the six-time defending conference champions, fell to 0-3 in the LEC and 6-5 overall.
The Panthers placed four players in double figures, led by Adam DeChristopher (Brockton, MA) with 17 points and Shannon Gallagher (Plymouth, NH) with 16. JaModi Robinson (Framingham, MA) added 10 points, and Jamal Pettiford-Jones (Portsmouth, NH) contributed 10 points and a career-high 14 rebounds.
UMass Dartmouth had five players in double figures, including 16 points from Jason Antonio (Mattapoisett, MA). Tony Moreira (Pawtucket, RI), Marques Houtman (New Bedford, MA), and Nick Cecilio (Centerville, MA) each scored 12 points, and Jay Norton (Billerica, MA) chipped in with 10.
