PLYMOUTH, N.H. –– The number of undergraduate students attending Plymouth State University this fall is slightly higher than last year as 4,316 students are enrolled 30 days into the semester (the official census date for the fall semester), University officials announced today. This is an increase of 20 students from 2006.
The number of first-year, first-time college students enrolled this semester is 1,013, an increase of six students over last year.
The number of students living on campus this semester is 2,436, an increase of 194 students over last year.
“The opening of the newly renovated Mary Lyon Hall allowed us to meet our goal of housing all first- and second-year students on campus,” PSU Vice President for Student Affairs Dick Hage said. “That, combined with the University’s slight increase in enrollment, means that about 170 fewer students are living off-campus this year versus last.”
To provide the most accurate graduate student enrollment data, PSU will release its College of Graduate Studies enrollment numbers later in the fall semester.
