The number of undergraduate students attending Plymouth State University this fall is slightly higher than last year as 4,124 students are enrolled 30 days into the semester (the official census date for the fall semester), University officials announced today. This is an increase of 43 students from 2005.
The number of first-year, first-time college students enrolled this year is 1,032, an increase of 28 over last year.
The number of students living on campus this year is 2,242, an increase of 68 over last year. The University is anticipating its on-campus housing capacity to increase by an additional 240 beds next year once the Mary Lyon Hall renovation is completed next summer.
“These enrollment figures represent relative stability for Plymouth State University,” President Sara Jayne Steen said. “We are working to manage enrollment in a way that is calculated and healthy for both the community and PSU.”
