PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University baseball team will finally play its home opener on Thursday (April 19) with a 4:00 p.m. non-conference game at Panther Park against Colby-Sawyer College.
The game was scheduled to be played in New London, N.H., but Colby-Sawyer’s field is unplayable so the contest was moved to Plymouth. PSU’s first two scheduled home games, last Thursday and Saturday, April 12 and 14, were postponed or moved due to field conditions at Panther Park.
Thursday’s game begins a string of seven games in five days for the Panthers. There are also single games against Keene State College Friday in Manchester and Sunday in either Plymouth or Keene, and doubleheaders Saturday at the University of Southern Maine and Monday against Lyndon State College (site TBA).
All PSU athletic scheduling changes will be updated on its website at www.plymouth.edu/athletic.
