PLYMOUTH, N.H. —The New York-based Amy Marshall Dance Company will headline the 2010 Plymouth State University Dance Premiere, Saturday, Feb. 6, in PSU’s Silver Center for the Arts.

The daylong PSU Dance Premiere offers dancers of all ages and levels opportunities to take master classes in a variety of dance styles with PSU faculty and visiting professionals.

A gala public performance at 8 p.m. will feature the Amy Marshall Dance Company and a number of participant-submitted choreographic works.

Each participant creates his or her own dance premiere schedule by choosing four master classes from a variety of dance styles and teachers. After a day of dancing, participants are invited to attend—or, if they are accepted by audition, to perform in—a public gala performance in the Hanaway Theatre featuring the guest performers.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and youth and $3 for PSU students with I.D. at the Silver Center Box Office, (603) 535-ARTS or (800) 779-3869. Formal attire is suggested by not required.
