September 2nd, 2007 by Adam

Nearly 2300 students converged on Plymouth State University, Sunday, September 2, for Move-In.It’s the busiest day of the year for the campus and surrounding communities as students move back, preparing for a new school year.

Sunny skies and many smiling faces greeted students who quickly filled PSU’s seven residence halls, including Mary Lyon, which reopened after a year-long, $15 million renovation.

PSU President Sara Jayne Steen continued her tradition of welcoming students and their families to the campus community.

PSU athletes also continued their committment to community service, helping classmates move their belongings into residence halls.

Although Move-In is very busy, it went exceptionally well this year and leaves students, staff and faculty primed for a great year.
