PSU Faculty Present More Teaching Moments: Selected Memories of PSU Faculty

February 22nd, 2013 by blyndes

PLYMOUTH, N.H.-A new compilation of entertaining and thought-provoking stories about teaching and learning life’s lessons at Plymouth State is now available. PSU Professor of Music Bob Swift has edited a new edition of Teaching Moments called, More Teaching Moments: Selected Memories of PSU Faculty.

Nearly two-dozen Plymouth State faculty have contributed some of their favorite PSU moments that reflect on memorable times in their careers.

PSU Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Julie Bernier characterizes the book with this quotation.

“A university is defined by far more than the size of its campus, number of its faculty, or height of the clock tower; rather, the essence is found in what takes place in its classrooms, laboratories, recital halls, studios, and on its athletic fields.”

This collection serves as a sequel to the first one (print) published in 2005: Teaching Moments: Selected Memories of PSU Faculty. The book is available online for all to read, or as an iBook (available free)

The online version is available at https://www.plymouth.edu/academics/teaching-moments/
