PSU Fall 2007 Convocation–Sept. 4

PLYMOUTH, NH — Plymouth State University Fall Convocation celebrating its commitment to excellence in service, scholarship and teaching is Tuesday, Sept. 4 at 4 p.m. in the Hartman Union Building Courtroom.

This year’s keynote address will be presented by Biology Professor Chris Chabot, the 2007 Distinguished Teacher, who will speak on “Rock on Lobster: Or what Horseshoe Crabs and Lobsters Have Taught Me About Teaching, Learning, and Time.”

Members of the Class of 2011 will be introduced by Gene Fahey, senior associate director of admissions, followed by a welcome from President Sara Jayne Steen, who will also introduce Professor Wendy Palmquist, recipient of the first annual faculty award for Excellence in Faculty Service,
and Associate Professor Kylo-Patrick Hart, recipient of the first annual faculty award for Distinguished Scholarship will also speak.
