PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University Women’s Soccer and Field Hockey programs will hold the first annual “Breast Cancer Awareness Day”. The two Panther teams will be honoring the theme of Breast Cancer Awareness during the Family Weekend matches this Saturday, Oct. 23.
The women’s soccer team will be hosting Western Connecticut State University at 11:00 a.m. at Panther Field, while the field hockey squad hosts Worcester State College at 1:30 p.m. at Arold Field.
As part of the day’s activities, each person who attends at least a portion of both matches will be presented with a pink lanyard representing the combined efforts of the Plymouth State University Women’s Teams in raising Breast Cancer Awareness.
A 50/50 raffle will be held at both games with one winner announced at halftime of the field hockey game. All proceeds will benefit the fight against breast cancer.
