PSU Hoops Invites You to Take a Kid to the Game

January 5th, 2007 by Adam

Come see the excitement of the Plymouth State University women’s & men’s basketball Saturday, January 13, for free!

PSU takes on against Eastern Connecticut and all area youth are invited to attend this “Take a Kid to the Game” day. This special event is part of the NCAA’s 11th annual Take a Kid to the Game® (TAKG) day celebration. Anyone who brings a child, 18 or younger, will receive free admission to watch the PSU Panthers take on Eastern Connecticut at Foley Gymnasium on the campus of Plymouth State. The women’s game tips off at 1:00 p.m., followed by the men’s squad at 3:00 p.m.

Plymouth State University and the Little East Conference are hosting one of the more than 700 games that will be played nationwide this season as part of the Take a Kid to the Game program. This project is a grass roots initiative that attracts the nation’s youth and encourages adults to take kids to area college basketball games.
