PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The All-Star guard on the 2004-05 Plymouth State University men’s basketball team has been recognized as one of the best in America by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
Senior Nick Pelotte (Bingham, Maine) was named Division III Third Team All-America by the NABC, the last in a long list of season honors for the Panther guard. Among his many other accolades this season were Fourth Team All-America by D3hoops.com, the ECAC New England Player of the Year, and the Most Outstanding Player in the Little East Conference Tournament after scoring a record 62 points in the championship game.
A 5’10” guard, Pelotte enjoyed a terrific season and career in a Panther uniform. He ranked third in the nation in scoring this year (28.2 points per game) and finished his career with 2,111 points, second on PSU’s all-time scoring list.
Pelotte joins two former Plymouth State standouts on NABC All-America teams – Moses Jean-Pierre (First Team in 1993-94) and Adam DeChristopher (First Team in 1998-99).
