PLYMOUTH, N.H.– Many people have seen the “Save Lake Winnipesaukee (Winni Who?)” project on The American Express Members Project television commercial and wondered “is this for real?” (check it out at it’s excellent.)

It is for real and the “Save Lake Winnipesaukee (Winni Who?)” project has been voted into the top 25 projects and has a real chance of receiving between $1 million and $5 million in funding if it is the top-vote-getter of the American Express Members Project.

The next round of voting is underway and will be open through Sunday, July 22. The five projects receiving the most votes will move into the final round. Assuming that “Winni Who?” makes it into the final round of five it will be one step closer to receiving between $1 million and $5 million in funding.

American Express card holders can help the “Save Lake Winnipesaukee (Winni Who?)” get there. Amex card holders just log onto to cast their vote in support of keeping Lake Winnipesaukee clean.
