PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The starting goalie on the Plymouth State University women’s ice hockey team was recognized by the Eastern College Athletic Conference Tuesday for her performance in a pair of Panther games last week.
Junior Lindsay DeLorie (Holliston, Mass./Newton Country Day) was named to the ECAC Women’s East Conference Weekly Honor Roll. It is the first week of ECAC weekly honors this season, and PSU is a new member in the ECAC Women’s East.
A junior goaltender, DeLorie (right) made a whopping 132 saves in PSU’s first two games, recording a .917 saves percentage. She made 56 saves in Friday’s 8-0 loss to Saint Michael’s, and made 76 saves in Saturday’s 4-0 loss to Norwich. The 76 saves ties for the fifth most number saves in a game in NCAA Division III women’s ice hockey history.
The Panthers are back on the ice this evening, Tuesday, Nov. 20, with an ECAC East game at Holy Cross (7:00 p.m.)
