PSU’s Matt Bedard Wins Northeast Region Student Employee of the Year Award

PLYMOUTH, N.H.-Matt Bedard has won the prestigious Northeast Association of Student Employment Administrators (NEASEA) award as a student employee at Plymouth State University. Bedard, a graduate student in meteorology, has worked at PSU’s Lamson Learning Commons Computer Helpdesk as a technology assistant for 4½ years, earning praise for his initiative and skill. Bedard won the NEASEA award in a competition comprising student employees in nine northeastern states, including New England, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is now eligible for the National Student Employee of the Year award.

“You are being honored by people you work with, and you are valued by students and staff alike,” said PSU President Sara Jayne Steen, who presented Bedard with his award.

Bedard provides high-technology assistance to students, staff and faculty at PSU, displaying an excellent work ethic, customer relation skills and technical expertise.
