Record-Setting Blood Drive Clinic Opening

January 1st, 2005 by Adam

The November Community Service Learning Center’s Red Cross blood drive was
a record breaker. Nancy W. Conklin, center coordinator, thanked everyone who
gave blood or helped out in any way to make the November blood drive successful.

PSU had a record number of donors with the following totals:

  • 215 prospective donors
  • 179 usable units of blood were received
  • 38 new donors
  • 6 people gave double red blood cells

Says Conklin,”This is the best we have ever done at PSU, so many thanks to
everyone who participated in any way! We went way over the goal the Red Cross
had set for us.”
