The Saul O Sidore Lecture Series at Plymouth State University presents a panel discussion on Environmental Justice, Monday, February 21 at 7 p.m.
The panel discussion is the fourth in a series of lectures on environmental justice sponsored by the 2004-2005 Sidore Lecture Series. Upcoming presenters include Edwardo Lao Rhodes, Monday, March 14, speaking on Environmental Justice: Challenges and Obstacles, and Richard Heinberg, Tuesday, April 12, speaking on The Party’s Over: Ramifications of the Coming End of Oil.
All Sidore events are held at 7 p.m. in Smith Recital Hall at Silver Cultural Arts Center on Main Street, Plymouth. Lectures are free to the public, but reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 535-ARTS. Each talk is followed by a reception with refreshments. For more information, call 535-2501.
The Saul O Sidore Lecture Series was established at Plymouth State in 1979 to bring a variety of speakers to the University each year to address critical social, political and cultural issues and events of our time.
