Silver Series Presents Award-Winning Pianist

The Silver Series of performing artists at Plymouth State University presents a concert by Dmitri Levkovich, pianist , at 8 p.m. Thursday, October 28 in the Smith Recital Hall at the Silver Cultural Arts Center.

Tickets are available at the Box Office Monday-Friday, noon – 6p.m. at $8 youth, $14 senior, and $15 adult.

The Ukrainian-born musician began playing piano at age three and composing his own work at age six. His Fantasia for Piano and Orchestra has been performed with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine.

He currently studies under Sergei Babayan at the Cleveland Institute of Music and won the institute’s concerto competition last year.

The Silver Cultural Arts Center is one of a dozen featured theaters in the 2005 New Hampshire’s Living Legacy calendar. Published by the New Hampshire Department of Cultural Resources, calendars are $5 at the SCAC box office and at the concession stand during performances.
