Student and Alumni Performers Take to the Stage

Homecoming and Family Weekend at Plymouth State University will include a Musical Theatre Showcase September 28 – 30, with current and former music and theatre students performing in a cabaret style environment. The Friday evening performance will feature alumni of both the PSU Music and PSU Theatre programs.

Selections for the evening come from The Producers, Civil War, South Pacific, Secret Garden, Light in the Piazza, Avenue Q, Into the Woods, Carousel, The Last Five Years and Songs for a New World.

Directing the Thursday and Saturday performances are musical
coordinator Charles Stanton, choreographer Michael David Stoddard ’01,
and collaborative pianist Connie Chesebrough.

Laura Cole ’08, Chris Covill ’08, Allison Duhamel ’08, Julie Feltman ’09, Jacqueline Fifield ’08, Alicia Garside ’09, Dan Hollander ’08, Pam Heinztelman ’08, Jake Josef ’07, Christopher Lukos ’07, John Lynes ’08, Brian O’Shaugnessy ’08, Katie Rondeau ’07, Natalie Roy ’07, Becky Rudolf ’08, Tania Saunders ’09, Erykah Skelly ’08, Emily Snidman ’08. Jenna Wigman ’08 and Jeremy Zgolbicki ’09.

Alumni featured on Friday include Michael David Stoddard, Fran Page, Char McLaughlin, Nina Livellara, Heather Hamilton, Sarah Edmunds, Amanda Koba, Lauren Keefe, Chris Robin Marcotte, Jackie Kenney, Sarah Comtois, Amanda McLaughlin, Nate Burcalow and Liz DeJulio.

Friday’s program incorporates musical coordination by Amanda McLaughlin,
choreography by Michael David Stoddard and piano accompaniment by Dan Perkins.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for adults. Performance times are Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. For information, call the box office, (603) 535-ARTS.
