Student Ensemble Performances December 1st

The Plymouth State College Chamber Singers and the Hanover Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Dan Perkins, will present A Joyful Noise! at 8 p.m. Friday, December 1 at the Plymouth Congregational Church on Main Street in downtown Plymouth. The combined groups will perform works by Albinoni and Vivaldi, and Bach Cantata #191. Admission is by donation at the door.

The College’s Contemporary Dance Ensemble will present a fall dance concert at
8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, December 8 and 9, at the PSC Silver Cultural Arts Center. The concert includes works by PSC students and dance faculty, and guest artists. The program also includes the annual Winter Fantasia choreographed by faculty members Carole Ann Morrison and Joan Wiegers. Tickets are $8 at the PSC box office, 535-ARTS.

Other student groups performing in December are Chamber Winds at 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 6; Guitar Ensemble at 8 p.m. Tuesday December 12; and Percussion Ensemble at 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 13. These three performances are offered free of charge.
