Students Perform Concerto Movements and Other Works

Five students in the department of Music, Theatre, and Dance at Plymouth State University will perform concerto movements and other works for piano at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 at the Silver Center.

The program includes concerto movements composed by Shostakovich, Mendelssohn, Gershwin, Baurer and Rachmaninoff. Two student will perform works by Copland and Granados.

Student performers are PSU juniors Colin McIver of Plymouth, Ashley Rose of Hinsdale, Julie Formidoni of Claremont and Mac Slivka of Rutland, Vt. and senior Jessica Janaitis of Moultonboro. PSU Professor Carleen Graff, director of piano performance studies, will also perform.

There is no admission charge for the concert.
