IS-377.01: France: An Artist’s Point of View

This integrative course takes place in Brittany and in Paris, France. As you explore historical monuments and inspiring landscapes, you will exercise your senses by sketching, painting and journaling on-sight at each location. You will spend three or more hours each day absorbing the rich
culture and history of France by recording your thoughts and visions.

The course will meet on-campus on Wednesdays, February 16, April 6, and May 4 in
Draper and Maynard room 204 from 5-7 p.m.

The dates of travel are May 25 – June 9, 2005. There will be a final mandatory class meeting on Saturday, June 25. The instructor’s signature is required and travel fees/payment schedules will apply.

Fee: $2400 — includes roundtrip airfare, ground transportation, and accommodations.
