Take a Kid to the Game Day at PSU January 13

January 9th, 2007 by Adam

Come see the excitement of the Plymouth State University women’s & men’s basketball Saturday, January 13, free of charge!

PSU takes on Eastern Connecticut, and all area youth are invited to attend this “Take a Kid to the Game” day. This special event is part of the NCAA’s 11th annual Take a Kid to the Game (TAKG) day celebration.

Anyone who brings a child age 18 or younger will receive free admission to watch the PSU Panthers take on Eastern Connecticut at Foley Gymnasium on the campus of Plymouth State. The women’s game tips off at 1 p.m., followed by the men’s squad at 3 p.m.

Plymouth State University and the Little East Conference are hosting one of the more than 700 games that will be played nationwide this season as part of the Take a Kid to the Game program. This project is a grass roots initiative that attracts the nation’s youth and encourages adults to take kids to area college basketball games.
