PLYMOUTH, N.H. – One of the senior captains on the Plymouth State College men’s soccer team has been named Little East Conference Player of
the Week.

Senior midfielder Garry Thomson (Glasgow, Scotland) was chosen for this week’s top LEC honor. It is the second time in his career that Thomson
has earned the award; he was recognized with the same honor last October.

A 6’3”, 190-pound midfielder, Thomson was instrumental in PSC picking up a pair of 1-0 victories last week. He assisted on senior Magnus Eriksson’s
(Arjang, Sweden) game-winning goal Thursday at regional rival Salem State, and he set up junior Justin Wengell (Newington, Conn.) for the game-winner
Saturday at home against LEC foe Western Connecticut. Thomson leads the team in assists and ranks second in scoring with two goals and four assists.

The Panthers, who have won four of their last five games by 1-0 scores, have improved their record to 6-4-0 overall. PSC is 3-1-0 in LEC action, a game
behind co-leaders Keene State and UMass Dartmouth, who are both 4-0-0. The Panthers host a pair of LEC contests this week – Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. against
Southern Maine and Saturday at 1:00 p.m. versus Rhode Island College.
