PLYMOUTH, N.H. — Mezzo-sopranos Amanda Munton and Petra Pacaric will perform a program of lighthearted art songs, arias and Spanish zarzuelas with collaborative pianist Allan DiBiase, February 15 at 5 p.m. at the PSU Silver Center for the Arts.
She is a frequent recitalist throughout New England, and has performed roles in opera and musical theatre. Munton teaches voice at Plymouth State University and the Seacoast Academy of Music. She has studied with Carla Lefevre, Kathleen Arecchi and James McDonald.
Pacaric has performed throughout New England as a recitalist and soloist with numerous opera companies, the Metrowest Symphony, Nashua Symphony and the Westford Chorale. She also performed extensively with the Boston Symphony Orchestra as a member of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus. The Austrian-born performer is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory and teaches voice at Phillips Exeter Academy.
A collaborative pianist in the Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance at Plymouth State University, DiBiase is a frequent recitalist with students and faculty. He is associate professor in the Doctor of Arts program in leadership at Franklin Pierce University, teaching philosophy of the arts and leadership.
