AICP Scholarship Program

The Association of Insurance Compliance Professionals (AICP) serves the insurance compliance community by promoting relationships, exchanging information, and providing learning opportunities within a dynamic regulatory environment. Up to three (3) $1,000.00 scholarships may be awarded annually for tuition and fees.

Eligibility: Parent(s)/grandparent(s)/legal guardian/spouse must be a member of the AICP in good standing. Student must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75, be full time, and a business or mathematics major.

ALTRUSA Non-traditional Student Scholarship: Meredith Chapter

Altrusa International, Inc. is an international association of business executives and professionals who volunteer their energies and expertise in projects dedicated to community betterment. Altrusa is a community service organization that espouses volunteerism and service. The Meredith Altrusa Club is part of District One, which has 20 clubs in four US states as well as clubs in Canada and Bermuda

Claricode Medical Software Essay Scholarship

The Claricode Medical Software Essay Scholarship awards a total of $5000 each year to full-time undergraduate or full-time graduate students who attend a U.S. accredited college/university. These scholarships require basic applicant information as well as a 500-1000 word essay.

Elizabeth and Sherman Asche Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Association on American Indian Affairs offers Elizabeth and Sherman Asche Memorial Scholarships in the amount of $1,500. Disbursement in the amount of $750 is made directly to the college fall and spring semesters pending satisfactory progress. Spring disbursement requires a copy of the fall semester’s grades and a spring semester class schedule. Students are eligible to apply on a yearly basis.

Great Lakes Educational Loan Services, Inc. is offering $2,500 scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students enrolling in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) programs. Up to 750 awards will be granted to qualified students from across the country.

Humane Studies Fellowship

The Institute for Humane Studies supports the achievement of a freer society by discovering and facilitating the development of talented students, scholars, and other intellectuals who share an interest in liberty and in advancing the principles and practice of freedom. The fellowships support study in a variety of fields, including economics, philosophy, law, political science, history, and sociology.

Eligibility: Full-time graduate student or undergraduate junior or senior during the 2012-2013 academic year. Preference given to student who live or study in the United States, Canada or the United Kingdom.

IMA Memorial Education Fund

IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) sponsors a variety of scholarship programs to help students offset the high cost of education. These include the IMA Memorial Education Fund and Stuart Cameron and Margaret McLeod Memorial Scholarships.

James Madison Fellowship

The James Madison Memorial Fellowship Foundation offers $24,000 James Madison Graduate Fellowships to individuals desiring to become outstanding teachers of the American Constitution at the secondary school level. Fellowship applicants compete only against other applicants from the states of their legal residence. Generally, one Fellowship per state is awarded each year.

John L. Carey Scholarship Program

The John L. Carey Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to liberal arts degree holders pursuing graduate studies in accounting. These awards are intended to encourage liberal arts undergraduates to consider professional accounting careers.

Korean American Scholarship

KASF is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to identify and cultivate future leaders and to provide financial assistance to qualified students in America of Korean heritage in their pursuit of scholastic endeavors. Since its inception in 1969, KASF has provided a total of over 2 million dollars in scholarships to over 4,000 eligible students across America.

Kosciuszko Foundation’s Tuition Scholarship Program

The Kosciuszko Foundation is dedicated to promoting educational and cultural exchanges between the United States and Poland and to increasing American understanding of Polish culture and history. Scholarships for graduate studies are available to New Hampshire students of Polish descent through the Stella Pinska-Keene Scholarship of the Kosciuszko Foundation’s Tuition Scholarship program.  Scholarships range from $1,000 to $7,000.

Liljegren Law Group Military Family Scholarship

At the Liljegren Law Group, we understand how important the military is to our way of life. Founding attorney Scott Liljegren began his legal career in the Navy’s JAG Corps and developed a close personal connection with the people he worked with. Malyon-Smith Scholarship

The Malyon-Smith Scholarship is named for two founding past-presidents of the Division, the late Alan Malyon and the late Adrienne Smith. The purpose of the Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship is to recognize outstanding performance by minority students preparing for careers in state and local government finance.

New England States Government Finance Officers’ Association Scholarship

The NESGFOA promotes and encourages a closer relationship among those engaged in finance in the municipal, state and federal service, develops a closer relationship and understating among public officials whose responsibilities and duties involve state and municipal problems, facilitates discussion, analysis and solutions of such problems under the laws existing in the New England States, and promotes continuing educational programs for public finance officials and employees.

The New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA) is a state-wide professional organization of CPAs in public practice, industry, government and education. Winifred L. Foote Award for Academic Excellence

It is the purpose of the Stratham Historical Society, Inc., a non-profit organization, to establish a program of educational awards, with monies received from the investment of the Winfield L. Foote Endowment Fund.  These scholarships and awards shall be known as “The Stratham Historical Society Winfield L. Foote Award for Academic Excellence.”  The criteria for awarding these monies shall be in keeping with the stated mission of the Society –“to promote the study of the prehistoric and historic past of Stratham, New Hampshire, and of communities and cultures related to that history.”
