It was a huge honor to have my presentation accepted into the ISSRM conference this year and to be provided with the funding necessary to make the trip from the Student Research Advisory Council. Spending time with so many other academics and professionals in the field was perhaps better than any class I could have taken. I got the opportunity to hear about research in environmental science, policy and human dimensions.  I came home with tons of contacts and business cards as well as constructive comments on my project. This was my first conference and I wish I had known about these events sooner. I would recommend it to any enthusiastic and motivated students in any discipline.” Andrew Veilleux
