NWPNH has won a $20,000 College Ready Writers Program (CRWP) grant that supports argument writing for grades 6-12. The purpose of this grant is to invest in 12 – 16 experienced middle and high school Writing Project teacher-leaders through an Advanced Institute to take place during the summer of 2016 and continue during the 2016 – 17 school year for a minimum of 30 hours. At least two-thirds of the participating TCs should teach in a high-need school or have experience teaching in a high-need school. The CRWP institute will be held July 25 – July 29th in Plymouth. We are looking for teachers of all subjects in grades 6 – 12 with writing project experience who are interested in working on argument writing in their classes.
