About Professor Lonergan
Phil Lonergan attended the University of St. Thomas as an undergraduate, where he studied art and psychology. He spent many years working as a furniture builder and boatbuilder, both in the US and abroad, and he has lived throughout Europe, Asia, and Australia. After returning from working abroad, Lonergan attended graduate school at SUNY-Albany, where he received his MFA in Sculpture. He is currently professor and coordinator of sculpture at Plymouth State University. He works out of a studio at his home.
