Pair breathtaking natural beauty with a friendly, hometown vibe and you have Plymouth State. You’ll have endless opportunities to meet people, get involved and have fun here.
Campus life centers around the Hartman Union Building, aptly nicknamed the HUB. Here you can hit the bookstore for supplies, grab a snack, catch up on the day’s news, attend a meeting, or watch the evening’s entertainment.
There’s always something to do on or around campus. You can see a performance at the Silver Center for the Arts, ice skate at Hanaway Rink, cheer the Panthers on to victory at a game, take a yoga class, work out in the Fitness Center, shop on Main Street, or join one of our more than 80 clubs.
If you love the outdoors, our campus is minutes from the White Mountain National Forest. Here you have miles and miles of trails for hiking and biking and mountains for rock climbing. The nearby Lakes Region offers recreational opportunities including swimming, sailing, snorkeling, fishing, paddleboarding, or simply floating. In the winter, local activities abound, including downhill and Nordic skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and snowshoeing. Great restaurants, shopping venues, clubs, museums, and entertainment are also only a car ride away.
