Accepted Students

Congratulations on being accepted to Plymouth State University!

How is Admissions responding to COVID-19?

All of us here at PSU know that there will be disruption to the end of the academic year and we want to assure you that we are here as a partner every step of the way. For students who have been admitted or will be admitted for the entering class of Fall 2020 here are the answers to some of the questions you may have.

How will an entering student submit their final grades, transcripts, and AP scores if their school is closed?
We will work with you to ensure any delay or interruption in the normal enrollment process does not hinder a student’s ability to arrive at PSU this fall.
Is PSU extending any admission deadlines?
Yes, we have extended the deposit deadline to June 1. If this deadline poses a problem for you, please just reach out to your admissions counselor and we can work to define a timeline that makes the most sense for your family.
Are campus visits still available?
PSU has responded to the best practice suggestions of experts across the country and canceled all campus visits for the foreseable future.

In place of these events, we have launched five Virtual Accepted Students Days. We are also scheduling times to meet 1:1 with students and families to discuss your concerns and questions. You can reserve your spot for these options on this webpage.

How can I connect with a current student?
By texting (603) 769-8540! A student will be available Monday – Thursday, 5:00 – 8:00 pm. However, please text at any time and they will respond in those windows.

Read our student blog The Panther Post.

To be clear, PSU will not penalize students for any challenges associated with COVID-19. When we admit a student, we are committing to them and we stand by the commitment we made to ensure they receive a top-notch education in a safe and caring environment.

Undoubtedly, these are challenging times. We encourage you to be in touch with the Admissions Team with any questions you have. Together, we will make this work. How can we help?

Here are your 5 steps to becoming an official PSU Panther!
