Plymouth State is expanding our on-campus and virtual tour offerings and has updated visitor and guest policies to ensure the safety of our campus community. Due to the complex nature of the COVID-19 situation, all buildings on the campus of Plymouth State University will be temporarily closed to the public until conditions improve. On-Campus Visits

Due to the complex nature of the COVID-19 situation, Plymouth State has postponed all guided on-campus tours for the remainder of the fall semester. Please explore our self-guided visit options and continue to check back in for updates on current offerings.

Self-Guided Campus Tours

Plymouth State now offers self-guided campus tours through your mobile device! Visitors can access the self-guided tour and learn more about our PSU by downloading our interactive Guidebook app. Visit on your mobile device and tap “download” to get the free PSU guides app!

In addition to this mobile option, a printed self-guided campus tour booklet has been developed for guests to explore campus! The booklet includes a walking map with information on each of the 15 buildings you will see along the tour route. Registration for the self-guided tour is not required, and guests may access these booklets at any time while on campus. The self-guided tour booklets will be available for visitors to pick up in the front vestibule of our admissions office (Russell House). Russell House is located at 27 Highland Street, Plymouth NH 03264. You will be able to enter the front screen door of the vestibule and find the booklets to your left.

College Calling Event Series

Hosted by Director of Admissions Matt Wallace, this event series provides students and families an opportunity to have their questions about the college application, financing, and decision making processes answered. These sessions will answer both PSU-specific and general enrollment questions.

Applying for Admission and Financial Aid

We will examine the different forms of admission (early action, early decision, regular, and rolling) and discuss the benefits and drawbacks for each. Additionally, we will unpack some of the confusing aspects of the financial aid process, including how the applications for admission and financial aid are separate but work together, the importance of filing the FAFSA, misleading awarding practices to be on the alert for, and much more! COVID-19 and Your College Search

This year has been different, that’s for sure. The pandemic has disrupted our lives and the college search has not been immune to that. We will talk about what has changed, what schools are doing to ease the stress on students, how COVID has impacted college and university functions, and more!

Is a Bachelor’s Degree Worth the Investment?

There is a national debate about if the investment in a bachelor’s degree is worth it. Let’s explore that discussion. Together we will look at why a bachelor’s degree is beneficial, what to look for when choosing a school, and how some schools come up short in holding up their end of the investment.

Why Should I File a FAFSA?

FAFSA? What’s that?! We will have a discussion about why completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the most important thing you can do beyond submitting your application for admission. We will also analyze some of the misconceptions families have about the process, explore what FAFSA verification is, and what doors filing the FAFSA opens for additional financial aid.

Virtual Information Sessions and Campus Tours

Guests may register for any information session by clicking the “Schedule Your Visit Now” tab at the top of the page. After signing up for a featured event, attendees will receive an email confirmation containing the session link. All sessions will take place through Zoom.

Undergraduate Information Sessions and Virtual Campus Tours

Engage directly with an Admissions Representative and learn more about PSU, our admissions process, and academic programs. Attendees will follow along on a virtual campus tour and have an opportunity to ask questions! These sessions are offered weekly throughout the summer. Sessions are held at 1:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays, while Tuesday and Thursday have two sessions at 11:00 am and 6:00 pm. 

Transfer Student Information Sessions and Virtual Campus Tours

Transfer students are invited to connect with Plymouth State by attending a virtual Transfer Student Information Session! Students will engage directly with a Transfer Admissions Counselor and will learn about transfer admissions requirements, credit evaluation, course selection, housing, and more! These sessions are offered on Fridays at 11:00 am throughout the fall. 

International Student Information Sessions

International students who are interested in studying at Plymouth State are encouraged to join in on a virtual discussion with Sandy McGarr, the International Admissions Counselor at PSU! Attending a session will allow you to ask questions and learn more about our campus and location, student VISA’s, athletics, housing, and more. Sessions are held at 7:00 pm on Mondays, 1:00 pm on Wednesdays, and 9:00 am on Thursdays throughout the fall.

Parent & Family Office Hours

Parents and guardians may book a time to speak directly with the Director of Admissions to have your questions answered! Sessions are usually 20-30 minutes in length, please click here to book your call or video chat! 

Virtual Program Specific Information Sessions

We are working with the academic programs to develop program-specific Virtual Information Sessions. Those offerings will be posted as they are available.

Connect with a Current Plymouth State Student

Do you want to talk with a current PSU student?

Caylin Bessette a current sophomore, Elementary Education major at Plymouth State University would love to chat! She serves as an admissions representative, an orientation leader, the Vice President of Best Buddies, and is involved in our educator preparation club (ASCD). Book an appointment with her to hear directly from a current student!

You can also speak with a current student every night, Monday – Thursday, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm by registering for a “Zoom with a Current Student” session. Ask them any questions you have about life on campus and being a Panther!

If you are interested in working with Plymouth State to host a virtual group tour, please email Kayleigh Bennett at

If you are visiting with a group of 10 or more people, you’ll be better served by arranging a separate group tour of the campus. Kayleigh Bennett, coordinates group visits. Group tours are welcomed on a space available basis from September – early December and February – March.

Graduate Information Session

Register for one of our upcoming Online Information sessions where advisors and faculty will be able to answer your questions about program offerings, course delivery options, the application process, how to register for a class, financial aid and more.

Doctor of Physical Therapy ONLINE Information Sessions

Talk with faculty and admissions counselors about the curriculum and program requirements, and ask questions about the admission process, financial aid resources, housing options, etc. These are online sessions via Zoom, you can register for one of the three dates using the green “Schedule your visit now” button below.

ONLINE Graduate Information Sessions (all programs)

These will be virtual sessions where you can talk with advisors who will be able to answer your questions about program offerings, course delivery options, the application process, how to register for a class, financial aid and more.

MBA 4+1 Cohort ONLINE Information Session

Learn more about PSU’s 4+1 MBA program designed for PSU students who will complete their bachelor’s degree in May 2021. This in-person cohort program is open to students in all areas, you do not need to have a business background.
