Plymouth State is expanding our on-campus and virtual tour offerings and has updated visitor and guest policies to ensure the safety of our campus community. Due to the complex nature of the COVID-19 situation, all buildings on the campus of Plymouth State University will be temporarily closed to the public until conditions improve. Accepted Students

1:1 Phone Calls with PSU Financial Aid

Do you have questions about your financial aid package and how to pay for a PSU education? Accepted students may register for a one-on-one phone conversation with our financial aid advisors to answer your financial aid questions and talk through your individual package.

Calls with financial aid happen on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (EST), and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. throughout the month of April. All calls will be booked in 20-minute sessions, please have your student ID number available for the call! Your student ID number is nine digits long and looks something like this – ex. 000123456.

To register for a 1:1 call with financial aid, please click the “Schedule Your Visit Now” tab at the top of the page and select “One-on-One Phone Call” under the featured events. Please provide an accurate email address in the registration form as a confirmation email with important information will be sent after registering.

Self-Guided Campus Tour Week

Plymouth State invites accepted students to visit campus during our self-guided campus tour celebration during the week of May 3! Families that register for a 1-hour self-guided visit will be provided with customized visitor packets and light refreshments, compliments of our Admissions Office! Self-guided campus tours will happen exclusively outside and all visitors are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment while on campus and in the town of Plymouth.

To register for a Self-Guided Campus tour, please click the “Schedule Your Visit Now” tab at the top of the page and select “Special Event” under the featured events. Please provide an accurate email address in the registration form as a confirmation email with important information will be sent after registering.

Virtual Visits and Information Sessions

Guests may register for any information session by clicking the “Schedule Your Visit Now” tab at the top of the page. After signing up for a featured event, attendees will receive an email confirmation containing the session link. All sessions will take place through Zoom.

Livestream Campus Tours

Join a current PSU Panther on a real-time livestreamed campus tour! Guests are invited to virtually follow along as our current student’s tour through various buildings to showcase classrooms, study spaces, residence halls, and other campus features. Questions will be answered live throughout the duration of the tour.

Livestream tours will happen on select Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the spring at varying times. To register, please click the “Schedule Your Visit Now” tab at the top of the page and select the “Livestream Campus Tour” option under featured events. After registering, attendees will receive an email confirmation containing the Zoom link to attend.

Undergraduate Information Sessions and Virtual Campus Tours

Engage directly with an Admissions Representative to learn more about PSU, our admissions process, and academic programs. Attendees will follow along on a virtual campus tour, have an opportunity to ask questions, and meet some of our current students! Sessions are offered weekly throughout the spring and summer.

Transfer Student 1:1 Information Sessions

Transfer students are invited to connect individually with their Transfer Admissions Counselor to learn more about transfer admissions requirements, credit evaluation, course selection, housing, and more! Please book time to meet with your individual counselor by clicking on their name below.

International Student Information Sessions

International students who are interested in studying at Plymouth State are encouraged to join in on a virtual discussion with Sandy McGarr, the International Admissions Counselor at PSU! Attending a session will allow you to ask questions and learn more about our campus and location, student VISA’s, athletics, housing, and more. Sessions are held at 9:00 a.m. (EST) on Wednesdays and 2:00 p.m. (EST) on Thursdays throughout the spring.

Parent & Family Office Hours

Parents and guardians may book a time to speak directly with the Director of Admissions to have your questions answered! Sessions are usually 20-30 minutes in length, please click here to book your call or video chat! 

On-Campus Visits

Plymouth State is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and is operating under the guidance of local, state, and campus officials. The NH Dept. of Health and Human Services amended restrictions for essential travel to include visits to college campuses and universities. Families traveling from outside of New England for a college visit are not required to travel-quarantine.

Self-Guided Campus Tour Week

On-Campus Small Group Tours

Plymouth State is expanding our on-campus weekday tour offerings to include a limited amount of small group tours! Visitors may enjoy the natural beauty of campus during a 45-minute outside walking tour while following safe social distancing and personal protective equipment requirements. Tour groups will be limited to 2 students with each student being allowed 2 guests for a small group of 6 total people.

To complement the walking tour, we recommend that visitors attend one of our daily virtual information sessions to learn more about academics, our admissions process, and connect with our admissions representatives!

Self-Guided Campus Tours

Plymouth State now offers self-guided campus tours through your mobile device! Visitors can access the self-guided tour and learn more about our PSU by downloading our interactive Guidebook app. Visit https://guidebook.com/g/psu/ on your mobile device and tap “download” to get the free PSU guides app!

In addition to this mobile option, a printed self-guided campus tour booklet has been developed for guests to explore campus! The booklet includes a walking map with information on each of the 15 buildings you will see along the tour route. Registration for the self-guided tour is not required, and guests may access these booklets at any time while on campus. The self-guided tour booklets will be available for visitors to pick up in the front vestibule of our admissions office (Russell House). Russell House is located at 27 Highland Street, Plymouth NH 03264. You will be able to enter the front screen door of the vestibule and find the booklets to your left.

4:00 PM (EST) — Alyssa is a current sophomore from Londonderry, NH. She’s majoring in Meteorology with a dual minor in Mathematics and Sustainability. On campus, she is President of the Student Support Foundation, is a member of the Meteorological Society, played in the PSU flute choir and symphonic band, and takes ballet class currently! When Alyssa isn’t on campus, you can find her taking day trips to Tilton or hanging out with friends.

4:30 PM (EST) — Melinda is a current junior from Bedford, NH. She’s majoring in Elementary Education with a dual minor in English and History. Melinda serves as a Community Advisor, an Orientation Leader, a Desk Attendant, and is actively involved as an Admissions Representative. Her favorite thing to do on campus is to hang out with friends, and she loves grabbing Raspberry Redbulls downtown at Cafe Monte Alto. She also enjoys hiking around the area and discovering more of New Hampshire!

5:30 PM (EST) — Caylin is a current junior from St. Albans, VT. She’s majoring in Elementary Education and loves to interact with new and interested students through her roles as an Admissions Representative and Orientation Leader. On-campus, Caylin is the Vice President of Best Buddies and is actively involved in the Educator Preparation Club (ASCD)!

Wednesdays

4:00 PM (EST) — Michaela is a current senior from Nashua, NH. She’s a Nursing major and also serves as the President of the Student Nurses Association. Michaela has been an active Admissions Representative and Nursing Student Ambassador for her entire four years at PSU and cherishes the connections she’s made in both roles. When she isn’t busy studying, she likes to explore the Plymouth area with her friends.

5:00 PM (EST) — Avery is a current senior from Dover, NH. She’s majoring in Business Administration with a focus on Professional Sales. Avery is the Student Body President at Plymouth State and is also involved in Student Government, ENACTUS (Entrepreneurial, Action, Us), and is a member of the University Honors Program. In her free time, she loves to paint, find new hikes, and hang out with her friends.

Thursdays

5:00 PM (EST) — Kaci is a current sophomore from McIndoe Falls, VT. He is majoring in Music Education and is actively involved on campus! Kaci has several student worker jobs including serving as an Office Assistant and Building Manager in the Silver Center for the Arts, a Writing Consultant in the Writing Center, and is a peer Academic Tutor for the PASS Office. Kaci is also the President of the Plymouth State Handbell Choir, a student organization that he helped to start this year. Outside of class you can find Kaci cooking, doing puzzles, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.

— Tiffany is a current sophomore from Merrimac, MA. She’s a double major in Youth Development Education and Social Work with a certificate in After School Professionalism. On campus, Tiffany is a Community Advisor and an Admissions Representative.

Chastity is a junior studying Psychology with a focus on Mental Health with a minor in Business Administration. Chastity enjoys drawing on her iPad learning new languages in her free time!

Victoria is a first-year student studying Public Health with a double minor in both Global Health and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. The path that she has chosen is based on her love of service and passion for connecting with others. In her future, she hopes to inform, empower, and educate communities on important topics and issues regarding health and wellness. Victoria enjoys hiking, running, skiing, painting, and the little things in life.

Colby is a second-year graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate program. He works as an Admissions Representative, interns at a mental health private practice in downtown Plymouth and is a member of the Chi Sigma Iota counseling honor society. His hometown is Virginia Beach, VA and he received his Bachelors of Science in Psychology at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.

High School Group Tour

If you are interested in working with Plymouth State to host a virtual group tour, please email Kayleigh Bennett at kmbennett2@plymouth.edu.

If you are visiting with a group of 10 or more people, you’ll be better served by arranging a separate group tour of the campus. Kayleigh Bennett, coordinates group visits. Group tours are welcomed on a space available basis from September – early December and February – March.

MBA 4+1 Cohort ONLINE Information Session

Learn more about PSU’s 4+1 MBA program designed for PSU students who will complete their bachelor’s degree in May 2021. This in-person cohort program is open to students in all areas, you do not need to have a business background.
