This requirement is to help students see the connections between disciplines and to enable students to better appreciate how the resolution of actual problems often requires multiple disciplinary perspectives. An integrative course would include consideration of elements from at least two of the General Education Perspectives or skills areas. The Integrative Component cannot be satisfied with transfer credit, it must be taken at Plymouth. The course that is used to satisfy the Integrative Component cannot count toward the nine credits of 3000/4000 level courses outside the major discipline. Junior status is a prerequisite for all Integrative courses. (INTG)
