Spring Fling is the annual celebration of warm weather at Plymouth State University. It is usually two weekends prior to undergraduate graduation. In recent years Spring Fling is a Friday evening Battle of the Bands and a Saturday concert with food, games and a beer garden for those 21 and older. However, Spring Fling has evolved and changed over the years … it was even a bluegrass festival for a few years! Some years the concert has been free, while other years the student body has approved for a modest ticket fee in order to get a nationally touring musical artist. Spring Fling is planned by a committed group of students and advised by two staff members
