Bachelor’s to Master’s Programs

As the job market for recent college graduates becomes increasingly more competitive, Plymouth State is offering accelerated and affordable options to move directly into a graduate program after earning your bachelor’s degree.

4+1 Master of Business Administration (MBA)

This is a one year intensive cohort designed for all students – you do not need a business degree or background.

While this full-time program has been set up for current PSU students who will be completing their bachelor’s degree in May of each year, it is also open to anyone who wishes to complete the MBA program through an intensive face-to-face format on campus. Learn More.

Most classes will be delivered in-person through small classes on our Plymouth, NH campus. You will travel through the courses together, allowing for a personal and friendly learning environment, where you will work closely with our experienced faculty who offer a wide array of business expertise.

3+1 Communication and Media Studies (MBA)

There is a 3+1 option for PSU Communication and Media Studies students allowing you to complete your bachelor’s degree in an accelerated three year model, then move into the +1 MBA program for your fourth year at Plymouth State.

Current PSU students who are on track to complete their undergraduate program in the spring of each year, can take up to 6 credits that can count as electives toward their bachelor’s degree and as graduate credit toward the MBA program. For these 6 credits, tuition will be assessed at the undergraduate rate and UG financial aid can be used if applicable.

One-Year Intensive Special Education K-12 Certification (MEd)

Our one-year intensive program follows a prescribed sequence of coursework along with a special education internship to earn your Master of Education (MEd) with NH General Special Education K–12 certification in one year.

This 42-credit full-time program is for PSU graduates who have completed their bachelor’s degree in a teacher certification program or related educational field and are interested in working effectively in today’s inclusive classrooms or related fields. Courses are taught using a hybrid format to allow you to apply course concepts in school settings, to collaborate with professionals in the field, and to collaborate within a cohort model. Beginning in the summer term, you will progress through the program three to four courses at a time over one year while completing your teaching internship in the fall and spring terms.

4+1 MEd in Integrated Arts

Current PSU students in any undergraduate educator certification program, music, theatre, dance or the visual arts can complete their master’s degree in one additional year.

This 33-credit full-time program will start in the summer of each year and run as a cohort to allow students to successfully complete requirements by the end of the following spring semester.
