Hyde Hall Revitalized

Hyde Hall, built in 1976, continues to serve students as a campus mainstay for innovation and technology. To learn more about the Hyde Hall Paver campaign, visit plymouth.edu/pavers.
Created as a new academic hub of a quickly evolving campus, Harold E. Hyde Hall has been a symbol of Plymouth State’s growth since its opening in 1976.
Today, classrooms equipped with up-to-date learning programs allow faculty to better integrate technology into their lessons. Conference and study spaces allow students to collaborate in a realistic business environment on projects and big ideas. A new ‘Finance Lab’ creates opportunities for students to develop critical skills while in a ‘Wall Street’-esque atmosphere.
Every aspect of Hyde Hall has been renovated and improved to meet the needs of today’s learners – and tomorrow’s leaders.
All of this, and more, would not have been realized without critical donor support. From committed alumni and former professors to local businesses and partners, every supporter has been vital to helping the renovation move forward.
With the Hyde Hall renovation nearing completion, a new initiative encourages donors to further support the transformation. The Hyde Hall Paver Campaign provides donors with the opportunity to lay down a path forward for students through customizable commemorative pavers.
Support for the Paver Campaign spans generations of alumni looking to leave their mark on a space which has been central to their growth. From recent graduates to career professionals, to alumni of PSC and PTC, every era and stage of Plymouth State alumni is reflected through the project.
For recent graduate Dawn Sanchez ’25, ’25G, donating meant recognizing her roots at Plymouth State and planting seeds of

growth for future generations.
“The reason why I chose to donate to Hyde Hall is because that’s where I started,” she shares. “The Communications Department was in Hyde Hall, so it’s a full circle thing for me. Watching it transform into this beautiful space, and for me, coming from that space, I wanted to lay down a remembrance of where I started from.”
From modernized classrooms to updated facilities and building systems, changes to Hyde Hall have encompassed every aspect of the building. The outside of the building is ready for the same, with the new Donor Courtyard planned to create new outdoor space for students while recognizing donors to the Paver Campaign.
With an upgraded home for business, marketing, sales and more, Hyde Hall is better equipped to serve students for decades to come in a space that fits their needs. Donor support for the project has and will continue to leave its mark, with every contribution having a tangible impact on the future of Plymouth State.
