BIOGRAPHY

Diamond joined the Counseling Center in January 2025 as a practicum student and is continuing her training as an intern during the 2025–2026 academic year. She is pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Addictions and brings a strong interest in supporting students as they navigate the challenges of emerging adulthood.


APPROACH TO COUNSELING AND AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION

Diamond believes in tailoring her approach to each individual, drawing on a variety of therapeutic methods to best support students’ unique needs. Diamond brings a compassionate and approachable presence to her work, creating a welcoming space where students feel safe exploring their thoughts and experiences. She values collaboration and focuses on building trusting relationships that offer support and encouragement while fostering resilience, healing, and personal growth.


INTERESTS

She enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors with her dog, and reading. She also loves kayaking, hiking, exploring new places, as well as listening to music. Quality time with family and friends is especially important to her, and she values moments of connection just as much as moments of quiet reflection.
