Christopher Stoddard
Chris Stoddard joined Plymouth State in 2019 and is core faculty in the school psychology program. Dr. Stoddard has 6 years of experience working as a school psychologist, primarily at the middle school and high school levels. Dr. Stoddard considers school psychologists to be comprehensive mental health providers in schools; his many roles included conducting psychoeducational assessments, consulting with parents and teachers regarding learning, social difficulties, and emotional challenges, and conducting individual/group counseling. He is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and a Licensed Educational Psychologist (Massachusetts). In addition to his work in schools, Dr. Stoddard completed his doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship at The Triumph Center for Children, Adolescent, and Young Adult Counseling in Reading, MA. At the Triumph Center, Dr. Stoddard coordinated a group-therapy site, consulted to several school districts regarding implementation of effective progress monitoring practices, conducted individual psychotherapy, and was a Head Counselor in The Triumph Center’s therapeutic summer camp.
