Dr. Hui Cao is an interdisciplinary educator. She earned Education Doctor’s degree in Learning, Leadership and Community from Plymouth State University with scholarly concentration in Learning and Teaching Pedagogy, Program Assessment and Marketing, and Qualitative Research Methodology. Her interdisciplinary education background also includes Business Administration, Chinese Language within business settings, and Comparative Literature. She is an experienced teacher with an established record of positive course evaluations and capability in both online and on-site settings.
In addition to teaching, Dr. Cao works as the International Partnerships Specialist to develop and maintain institutional partnerships between the U.S. and Chinese universities through a variety of projects including marketing campaigns, delegation visits, joint programs, study camp, visiting scholars, faculty research and students’ collaborations. Before moving to the U.S., Dr. Cao worked as the Chief Marketing Officer for a private boarding school offering K-12 education to over 2,000 students in China for over 4 years.
As an effective communicator, Dr. Cao has strong intercultural communication skills. Living and traveling to places in and out of the U.S., she works with professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds and can easily relate to people. She loves meeting new people and establishes long-term relationships with them.
