Presentation Formats

A visual display of student work. Students are expected to display their posters and to stand by them and discuss their work. Each discipline has different specifications for their posters. Please consult with your faculty mentor for specifics of the poster. Example poster sessions include a research study, case study, a display of artwork, essays, creative plan etc.

Presentations are “workshops” that allow students to interact with the audience. These may include a laptop computer and “props” that are intended to allow students to introduce and/or demonstrate a unique skill or technique in their field. Examples include physics demonstrations, nursing interventions, meteorology demonstrations, games, robots, etc.
