Bachelor’s to Master’s Programs

As the job market for recent college graduates becomes increasingly more competitive, Plymouth State is offering accelerated and affordable options to move directly into a graduate program after earning your bachelor’s degree.

4+1 Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Eligible for Panther+Plus Scholarship

This is a one year intensive cohort designed for all current PSU students who will complete their bachelor's degree requirements in May of each year – you do not need a business degree or background. Most classes will be delivered in-person through small classes with your peers, allowing for a personal and friendly learning environment, where you will work closely with our experienced faculty who offer a wide array of business expertise. One-Year Intensive Special Education K-12 Certification (MEd)

Eligible for Panther+Plus Scholarship

Our one-year intensive program follows a prescribed sequence of coursework along with a special education internship to earn your Master of Education (MEd) with NH General Special Education K–12 certification in one year. This 42-credit full-time program is for PSU graduates who have completed their bachelor’s degree in a teacher certification program or related educational field and are interested in working effectively in today’s inclusive classrooms or related fields. Courses are taught online using a hybrid format to allow you to apply course concepts in school settings, to collaborate with professionals in the field, and to collaborate within a cohort model. 3+2 Athletic Training, Professional Program (MS)

Eligible for Panther+Plus Scholarship

The 3+2 program provides students with an opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to be a successful Certified Athletic Trainer. We offer two pathways to earn the Master of Science (MS) degree in Athletic Training.  Qualified students in the BS Allied Health Science program may apply to the 3+2 MS Athletic Training, Professional program after their third year as an undergraduate student. This allows students to complete both the bachelor’s and master’s in five years. The second pathway is for those who have already earned a bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Science or closely related program and wish to complete a two-year master’s degree. 3+2 Applied Exercise Physiology & Human Performance (MS)

Eligible for Panther+Plus Scholarship

The 3+2 program provides qualified students with an opportunity to continue their studies by earning both their Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in just five years. This accelerated program allows students to take a full year of graduate level courses during their senior year which will double count for both degrees. Learn More!

PSU Student Pathway for Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

Plymouth State's DPT program allows for up to 30 well-qualified students to begin each June as part of our full-time cohort program. Current PSU students in the BS Allied Health Science, BS Exercise Science, and other related programs will have an inside-track for admission through our pathway program where a minimum of four seats will be reserved for PSU students. Applications must be submitted through PTCAS in the fall of senior year, and there is GPA requirement of 3.2 or better in both science prerequisites and overall coursework. Learn More!

3+2 Clinical Mental Health Counseling (MS)

For undergraduate students working toward the BS in Psychology, the 3+2 pathway can begin once 90 credits or more are earned with a 3.5 or better GPA. This option offers in-person classes over two years to complete the MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling requirements, there are additional hours required after completion for licensure. 3+3 School Psychology (EdS)

Current PSU students in the BS in Psychology program can begin the 3+3 pathway after reaching senior status (90+ credits) while maintaining a 3.5+ GPA. Classes will be taken in-person over three-years (including summer semester), and there is an additional 1200 hours of internship required after completion of degree requirements. Learn More!

3+2 Marriage & Family Therapy (MS)

PSU students interested in pursuing the MS in Marriage & Family Therapy may begin any semester after obtaining 90+ credits. This pathway is open to majors in closely related fields and students must have a 3.0 or better GPA. Classes are offered through a blend of online and in-person classes. Learn More!

Panther +Plus Scholarship

PSU students who move directly from their bachelor’s degree into one of our Panther+Plus degree options may be eligible to receive a $2,000 scholarship toward their graduate tuition. Students must be fully admitted to the one of the graduate degrees that are offered in a cohort model to be eligible.
