Next Steps for Graduate Students

  • Mary Lyon Hall

Congratulations on your decision to pursue a graduate program! We’ve identified some “next steps” for you to complete – not all steps are applicable to everyone, so please take a few minutes to look these over.

Log into your MyPlymouth email

All campus and academic related communication will be sent to this account. Once you are admitted you can log into your account by visiting my.plymouth.edu after receiving your login credentials. If you have questions about accessing your email, call (603) 535-2929.

Contact your Advisor

If you have not already met with your advisor to develop a plan to complete your coursework, please reach out to schedule an initial meeting. Many advisors will schedule a phone appointment or can connect with you via Zoom or Skype if visiting campus is not convenient. Your advisors name and email address were included in your acceptance email.

Register for Classes

The Registrar’s Office handles the course registration process – check out the current course schedule by clicking on the “Register for Classes” option on the left side. To browse courses, select the current term from the drop down menu which will then allow you to search for classes in a variety of ways.

Admitted students are able to register for classes online through by selecting the the Register for Classes option, you will need your myPlymouth credentials. Be sure to have the course information (class number, title, CRN#) handy when you log in.
