The School of Human and Public Service brings together students and faculty who are preparing for work that serves people, communities, and the public good. Programs span justice, government, social sciences, and human services. Each field has its own focus, but all share a common purpose. To prepare graduates for professional work grounded in service, responsibility, and practice.
Faculty place strong value on mentoring, advising, and close relationships with students. Learning here is active and applied. Students are expected to engage with real communities, real organizations, and real needs. Many experiences take place beyond the classroom through field work, internships, and community-based projects.
